ANTON HILLER

Combining the classical, clean-lined form of natural models with a little of the vulnerable quality of Lehmbruck’s immediate post-war sculptures and, in ist material, referencing Barlach, Anton Hiller was one the most important artists from the Munich school of sculptors of the 20th century. In 1965 , he received the Bavarian Distinguished Service Award.
