SILVER DUST explores the interplay of light, material and human perception. Influenced by art historical trends, it focuses on the sensation of form and reflection, opening up new perspectives on transience and self-portraiture.
Drawing on the tradition of black-and-white photography, which makes impressive use of light and shadow, the exhibition explores the subtle aesthetics of contrast. It creates a visual language that reveals the inner depth and fragility of objects while reflecting on human existence. SILVER DUST not only deals with the physical reality of light and material, but also addresses the inner landscapes of human beings.
The title itself refers to the transience and lightness of being, while the play with metals and reflections raises questions about identity and self-image. The exhibition creates a dialogue between past and present, between art and everyday objects, thus opening up a space for own reflection and inspiration. The group exhibition invites visitors to take a fresh look at the everyday and to recognize the beauty in fragility and in the process of transformation.
SILVER DUST is more than just an exhibition; it is an invitation to delve into the depths of one’s own perception and experience the complex facets of being. The exhibition was put together with the friendly support of Galerie Renate Bender, Knust Kunz Gallery Editions, Galerie Elka Jordanow, Galerie LEU, Galerie Jo van de Loo and Galerie Britta Rettberg, Munich.
