ODEEH x ORTWIN KLIPP

Martina Tauber Fine Art is pleased to announce the recently curated collaboration between photographer Ortwin Klipp and German fashion brand ODEEH. The ODEEH x ORTWIN KLIPP collection pieces for the 2022 winter collection are based on the EVOLUTION series, which Ortwin Klipp is continuously expanding with new motifs. A selection of motifs was realized by ODEEH in different fabrics such as silk and an elaborately woven jacquard, which are then used to create the pieces for the collection.

With the name of the photo series EVOLUTION Ortwin Klipp opens a wide field: evolution is a process of gradual change that takes place over many generations, during which human, animal or plant species slowly change some of their physical characteristics. Evolution is a constantly changing process that cannot be pinned down.

The artworks of the EVOLUTION series are based on portraits of people, most of them friends and acquaintances of the artist. Their individuality is made unrecognizable and the artworks appear abstract. It is a process of change and fluid transformation. The bright colors testify to the positivity of this process. Ortwin Klipp, born in 1977, lives and works in Munich, Germany.
