HIGHLIGHTS International Art Fair, Residenz Munich

At the 9th edition of HIGHLIGHTS in Munich, MTFA presented the monumental black-and-white photography SALTON SEAS (I) by FLORIAN MAIER-AICHEN (1973, Stuttgart) at HIGHLIGHTS International Art Fair, a renowned Art Fair in Munich, ranging from antiquity to classical modern art and art after 1945. As an Associate Partner, we had a wall presentation with established contemporary art works in the lounge of Munich’s Residenz.

FLORIAN MAIER-AICHEN’s work has been exhibited and collected by public art collections as the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, the Denver Art Museum, Denver, the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York among others. Maier-Aichen lives and works in Cologne and Los Angeles and had major shows at three of the most influential galleries GAGOSIAN, 303 GALLERY in New York and BLUM & POE in Los Angeles.
