PALIM PALIM! is the fourth joint presentation at German fashion brand ODEEH for Gallery Weekend Berlin 2019 presenting new works by Sebastian Dacey & Martin Wöhrl.

SEBASTIAN DACEY (b. 1982 in London, UK, lives and works in Murnau and Berlin) plays with a broad range of different artistic positions from figurative to abstract painting. ‘What the fuck is nature? Nature is the sun and everything it shines its light on  – oh and those weird looking fish that have no eyes ‘cause they live in total darkness at the bottom of the sea, so growing eyes would be a complete waste of time (evolutionarily speaking), well they´re nature too’ (Sebastian Dacey).

MARTIN WÖHRL (b. 1974 in Munich, Germany, lives and works in Munich) routinely incorporates reinterpreted motifs and strategies drawn from the history of art, architecture, and design by using found objects and fragments or hardware materials. Strategies of juxtaposition and mimicry inject humor into his work, poking fun at cultural norms and traditional signifiers of value.
