Radiance of Nature | THE Show Flat by Stephanie Thatenhorst
External nature always influences and shapes the inner, psychological nature of human beings - and vice versa. In this respect, the definition of what we perceive as nature is always relative and becomes more precise in the discursive.
In 'Radiance of Nature', art consultant Martina Tauber, interior designer Stephanie Thatenhorst and rug manufacturer CC Tapis create such a discourse. The result is a walk-in Gesamtkunstwerk that allows visitors to immerse themselves in a space full of surprises. The exhibition is like a tactile journey. The starting point and centrepieces are rugs presented on walls in dialogue with carefully chosen works of art.
Motifs such as feathers, flowers, leaves, branches and trees, plants, rays, raindrops and colour gradients are visualised in a kaleidoscope of nature as the energy of perpetual creation and decay. Artworks are a very welcomed element in the interiors of Stephanie Thatenhorst and it is always a pleasure to collaborate in different projects.
