Das Einhorn im Spiegel der Popkultur
The main idea behind the exhibition is to explore the novel and its fundamental questions through art. There is a strong focus on the dialog between contemporary and historical art works. The genius loci of the Prediger Museum is especially relevant since the formerly Free Imperial City of Schwäbisch Gmünd has a nearly 750-year old tradition with the unicorn as its heraldic beast, richly documented in painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative arts in the historical collection of the museum.
